Professionally I started out in medical and paediatric nursing in the UK then worked for some years in South African hospitals. Marriage saw me moving to New Zealand to share farm a dairy & beef farm with my husband and start a family. My next move took me to Australia where for the past 10 years I combined home schooling three of our four children with helping my husband in his business. With just one teen still in the nest I’m now free to use my experiences of loss and healing to help others.
Having suffered many significant losses over the years, including broken engagements, five miscarriages, major surgeries, deeply painful family estrangements and the death of a parent, I’ve always felt drawn to natural and complementary therapies for healing and understanding.
After experiencing first-hand just how little useful help there is available to help heal a broken heart in some of these instances, I’ve spent decades studying complimentary healing modalities.
To deepen my understanding, I took courses in Aromatherapy, Pranic Healing, Reiki, Theta Healing, Law of Attraction, NLP, Eriksonian Hypnosis, Forgiveness Therapy, The Grief Recovery Method, and Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT-Tapping.
Having finally found my own healing I am passionate about sharing my knowledge, experience and wisdom with others to offer hope, insight and healing to lighten your way too.
